What Does Your Email Say To Your Prospect?

Each and everyday someone is coming at you with an offer. You get them through the mail, as a pop-up online, television, radio and good ole email. What kind of offer do you respond to? What kind of language would you prefer a marketer approach you with? Agressive? Shocking? Rude?Concerned? Friendly? Funny?

I personally have a tendency to delete emails that come off agressive or obnoxious. That's me. I feel that if you don't care enough to approach your prospective clients with respect than you don't need my business. That applies online or offline. Have you ever gone to a restaurant that did not cater to you respectfully? Would you go back?

In the world of internet marketing, where all you have to establish trust and rapport is your written word, the best thing you can do is make the best impression on the 1st offer. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. In considering the difference between successful marketers and everyone else it all comes down to value. What are you providing in return for my time? Is the value that you've attached to your product and yourself of equal or greater value than the money I'm willing to spend on it?

To run an effective email marketing campaign these are important considerations if we want to develop a list of subscribers who will be long term repeat clients. There are many programs and services available that can provide guaranteed visitors or potential clients, but what good is that service if we do not provide the necessary value for them to be our loyal clients?

You may have heard the saying: "You can attract more bees with honey..." Outside of the special offers that can sweeten the deal, so to speak, find a way to connect with your clients. If they know they are dealing with someone they can relate to, you will have a loyal client base that will be more than willing to give you their hard earned cash because you are giving them a perceived value that is equal or greater than what they're spending.

There was a time when only a small percentage of internet users communicated via email. Today people have 3 and 4 email accounts. The value of email marketing to an affiliate can literally mean the life or death of your business online, so give more than you expect to receive and you'll receive more than you've ever given. The next potential client or business partner that sees your Please Sign Up offer should get the feeling that the person on the other end of that offer is genuinely interested in helping them, not trying to mug them.

Because of the constant and rapid technological advancements of the internet, the world seems to be getting smaller and smaller. However, if we keep in mind the power of good communication via the connected environment we're doing business in, we can develop a loyal client base through our email marketing efforts.
