Park Mastectomy Supply specializes in providing a wide range of products from the major post-mastectomy manufactures to meet all of your needs. We currently have over 500 products available for you. We are excited to announce we are now shipping to international customers. We are committed to assisting you in finding the perfect mastectomy products.  Therefore, we have put together some basic information to assist you.

Immediate post-surgery recovery products available are camisoles with removable drain pouches, leisure bras, and leisure foam or surgical grade poly-fill forms.

After your surgery has healed, you can be fitted for a silicone breast prosthesis (breast form).  The American Cancer Society recommends that you be measured by a certified mastectomy fitter for your first breast form. This personalized fitting is to insure that you get the proper fit for a natural appearance and your maximum comfort.  However, you may not live in an area where there is a breast form fitter or you may not wish to go to a fitter for personal reasons.

Breast forms come in many shapes:  round, heart-shaped, teardrop, triangle, asymmetrical, partial, equalizer or shells. These are to accommodate different types of mastectomy, lumpectomy, and reconstructive surgery or for uneven breasts needs.  Also available are contact forms that attach to your chest wall with adhesive.

The round, heart-shaped, teardrop, and triangle, such as, Trulife 518 Le Coeur Heart-Shaped Breast Form are symmetrical breast forms which are designed to fit women who have had a simple mastectomy where only the breast has been removed with little or no tissue taken around the breast or under the arm.  These forms fit either right or left side.

The asymmetrical breast form is for a more radical mastectomy. You may have had a lot of tissue removed under your arms or a deep area at the side of your breast, which needs to be filled in by the “wing” or extension of the asymmetrical form.  These forms are ordered by either right or left breast.

The new convex silicone breast form is perfect for ladies who require additional tissue replacement on the chest wall due to a radical mastectomy.

Breast prosthesis have become softer and more lightweight in recent years. The newer silicone material used in the front layer of the prosthesis may be as much as 30% lighter than the older breast forms. This softer outside layer drapes like your natural breast, and women say they pass the “hug” test. The soft, flowable back gel layer of the ABC 10243 Convex Lightweight Triangle Breast Form breast form hugs and conforms to the chest wall for comfort and confidence. Others have a “climate control pad” that makes you more comfortable in hot humid areas.

Also available are perma-form mastectomy bras like the Jodee 3308 Comfort Perma-Form Mastectomy Bra with built-in foam breast forms.  These are custom made to fit your needs; i.e. size, side (right or left or bilateral), color choice, style choice.

If you need assistance in sizing, you may click on BREAST FORM SIZING CHARTS on home page, and choose a brand name of product in which you are interested.  Follow your bra band and cup size to determine the correct breast form size to order.  Please call Janet for any assistance needed at (208)263-7169.
